On Thursday 10 September, Kronendal held its annual Grade 7 Market Day. This day is a huge undertaking by the Grade 7′s, whereby they learn the skills of entrepreneurship by creating, budgeting for, marketing and selling their goods to the rest of the school. The Grade 7′s have spent the last few weeks vigorously preparing for the big day. They advertised their products by performing “jingles” during Monday morning school assemblies and placing posters around the school. Some of the goodies on offer were muffins, pancakes, milkshakes, boerewors rolls, samosas, scones, candy floss, slushies and plenty more.
