ZIP ZAP TO SHINE AT CIRCUS FEST IN HOUT BAY
Zip Zap Circus is coming to town! The beautiful village of Hout Bay will host Zip Zap, when they perform two shows at Kronendal Primary School’s Circus Fest which opens at 10am and ends at 3pm on Saturday 10 March.
The Zip Zap Circus performances take place at 11am and 2pm, and the day of fun-filled festivities also includes rides, games and food stalls selling popcorn, candyfloss, cupcakes, hotdogs, boerewors rolls, pancakes, wraps, fruit sticks, cold drinks, ice-creams, ice lollies, hot chocolate and coffee.
Children can also buy tickets for jumping castles, go karts and rocket launchers which will be set up in the playground, or try their hand at Tombola or the Big Balloon Pop where they stand a chance to win prizes.
All proceeds raised go to the Kronendal Bursary Fund. Kronendal Primary is a community school where children from diverse communities meet and learn as one family. Visitors to Circus Fest will be a part of sustaining this community by contributing towards the new bursary fund which subsidises learners who cannot afford to pay full fees.
Kronendal has partnered with Zip Zap, a social circus founded in Cape Town in 1992, to inspire young people and to help build a culture of peaceful coexistence in South Africa. Working with a diverse community of children from all backgrounds, Zip Zap helps children to dare to dream, and to learn to make those dreams a reality.
Circus tickets are R50 from Quicket and Kronendal Primary School and R65 at the door on the day. Food and games tickets will be sold at the event.
